with McKenna Site Management
Recent Projects
McKenna Site Management has been serving the Mid-Atlantic region for decades, and we now work nationally in the lower 48 for qualified industrial or utility-scale landscaping projects (for example, solar farms and large industrial complexes).
Recent Projects
McKenna Site Management worked with general contractor to assist achieving a fully compliant landscape for their site. Completed the last 50% of the landscape requirements for a (550) acre solar project in Middletown Delaware. As contracted, we completed the installation of (650) Evergreen Trees, (1,712) Canopy Trees, (500) shrubs and (9,750) perennials. This project was completed in (20) working days during March 2023.
McKenna Site Management completed and “turned-over” fifteen communities in need. Provided landscape and site work audits, repairs and remedial work to satisfy municipal approved design and functional intent. Streamlined the process of site completion and inspections to provide the developer’s team the time to focus on the next phase and new projects; without a trail of re-work or incomplete work. Our efforts helped this developer eliminate the barrier of turning over approved, improved, permitted lots to it’s national builder clients.
For over 25 years, McKenna Site Management has maintained its contract with Cheyney University – the oldest historically black college in the United States. Working alongside U.S. Facilities Inc., one of the largest minority owned facility management firms in United States, we continue to provide on-going landscape maintenance and snow removal services to fulfill requirements for the care of the (270) acre campus.
McKenna Site Management has ongoing contracts with entities operating in the Sports Complex of Philadelphia, providing snow and ice removal for the safety of fans and community. This work involves the care of over (250) acres of parking lots and (50) acres of sidewalks. This continues McKenna Site Management’s tradition of over (55) years of providing its services to large stadium complexes.
McKenna Site Management provided the landscape installation and maintenance for a 1,400 home community surrounding a new Jack Nicklaus signature golf course located in Sussex County Delaware. Our team managed the installation and maintenance of irrigation systems, trees, shrubs, turf and perennials for this project that occupies over 800 acres.
